Portland, Oregon Residential & Commercial Interior Designer

01. About

Entering a beautiful home can make a lasting impression

As a young teen, I vividly remember walking up the steps of a grand Lake Drive Tudor nearby in hopes to visit my grandmother who worked as a nanny. When she opened the door, the vivid, oversized geranium wallpaper spilled out in front of me, an image of pure luxury and self-expression I’ll never forget. How can we create an everlasting impression? Sometimes it’s by taking that bold first step by adding pattern, color, repetition which can create joy, harmony, self-expression and a sense of luxury. I can help you get there.

Testimonials

Extraordinary service for extraordinary customers.

“Patty Gohier has been my go-to designer and decorator for the last two years and I wholeheartedly endorse her. I have used three skilled and experienced decorators in the past but after working with Patty, I wouldn’t work with anyone else. Patty is creative, artistic and organized and can work within a wide variety of styles and tastes. She carefully listened to my needs and vision for my house and completely exceeded my expectations with what she put together. And under budget. Sometimes I have a hard time envisioning an idea or concept but her ability to provide the visual space design and concept in a mock-up was very helpful. On top of all that, her fees are reasonable. I love my home, Patty, and I have you to thank for that”!

Heather

“Right at the start I liked Patty because she listened carefully and understood what I was trying to accomplish while being personable and genuine. Patty has excellent taste and resources. She knows where to find the right products and materials. She led me in new and different directions that provided beautiful solutions. I am looking forward to working on an art project as we collaborate together. When issues and questions come up, as they always will in a job like this, Patty is very accessible and addresses them quickly and effectively.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by GOHIER Interior Designs. I would recommend Patty without the slightest hesitation. The condo was totally transformed into a beautiful space, taking on the look of something 2-3 times the actual cost. Patty’s choice of design, materials and color schemes are outstanding. I truly could not have accomplished this without Patty’s help. So, in retrospect, I view the hiring of an interior designer an investment rather than an additional cost”.

Barbara

“Thanks Patty. I really appreciate your help with all of this- totally reduced our stress level! Can’t wait to see the finish”.
